Who are you?
This is the most common question that you keep asking yourself, everyday so her is the answer, to who are you?
A man is anything he believes he is.
The truth is that most of us have forgotten this simple truth, it is so simple hence we believe it is not true. Because life cannot be so simple and easy, it should be so complicated and hard that no one is able to understand it, even ancient philosophers couldn't understand it. But the truth is, it is this simple, and most philosophers knew it but just as we are stuck in this dogma that it can't be that simple so were the philosophers, but some of them did get it right they knew that life is so simple.
You just need to decide what do you need? and what is you want the world to say about you? Even when i say that i want you to remember one thing, you can never please everybody in this world, so don't try to. The only person you should try to please is yourself and nobody else. If you are happy with yourself, everything else will automatically fall into the right place without much effort. Being happy is contagious, once you are happy everybody around you will also be happy or else leave you, either way it is good, because those who leave were not supposed to be there in the first place.
Becoming the ONE who you want to be is the ultimate goal/destiny/karma whatever you want to call it, you should embrace the love for yourself and keep improving to become the ONE. You want to be THE VISHAL NAIR (whatever your ideal image is) then you have to keep improving, invest time and resources on yourself, you deep down in your heart always know which is the right path to take, as Steve Jobs puts it:
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
Embrace these words and understand their meaning and follow it, you have to follow your heart, the heart will take you to becoming the ONE, that you were born to become, there are no shortcuts here but just the courage to face your fears and keep fighting for what you believe and what you want, because as time passes you don't regret failures in life but the only one you regret are the ones you didn't take and that is something you don.t want to take along with you to your death bed.
This is my advice to you Vishal, follow your heart and always remember your life motive.
What if after you die God asks you:
So, How Was Heaven?
Prepare for one hell of an answer.
