Anger - Your Friend And Foe

Anger can be constructive or destructive, it completely depends on how you handle it. If you cannot handle your anger properly, it will lead to your destruction.

"You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger."

― Buddha

Or if you control your anger properly it can take you to great heights that no other emotion can take you.

“Anger is just anger. It isn't good. It isn't bad. It just is. What you do with it is what matters. It's like anything else. You can use it to build or to destroy. You just have to make the choice."

Constructive anger," the demon said, her voice dripping sarcasm.

Also known as passion," I said quietly. "Passion has overthrown tyrants and freed prisoners and slaves. Passion has brought justice where there was savagery. Passion has created freedom where there was nothing but fear. Passion has helped souls rise from the ashes of their horrible lives and build something better, stronger, more beautiful.”

― Jim Butcher, White Night

The truth is how well can you channel your anger makes all the difference in the world, if you let it out without thinking carefully and preparing your action then you are doomed. At times we always do things in anger that we deeply regret later in our life, make sure that you don't end up being such a state. So it is always better to think carefully before let loosing your anger, never let your emotion control you, you should observe the situation as it is before lashing out emotionally.

Never Let your anger control your action, it rarely results any solution at all. But anger has its own benefits, if you can use your anger to fuel your motivation, then you have found the best use for your anger. If someone says you can't do it use that anger to prove them wrong, you should never try to prove anything to others, but that rule can sometimes be ignored if the end result is you getting better at whatever task it maybe, sometimes the best motivation is anger towards someone else because that can push you beyond your normal motivation or willpower can take you.

Although saying, sometimes it is not possible for the best of us to control our anger and we lash out, don't worry about it too much dust yourself up and start again, in controlling your anger. But always remember uncontrolled anger always ends up damaging you then damaging anyone else.

“Anybody can become angry — that is easy, but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way — that is not within everybody's power and is not easy.”

― Aristotle
